PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art that can improve treated water quality by expressing high deionization performance while lowly suppressing applied voltage between electrodes to EDI of a conventional deionization chamber two-chamber type.SOLUTION: In the electronic type deionized water production apparatus, a deionization chamber is divided into small deionization chambers D1 and D2 lining in an application current direction by an interlayer 1 of an anion exchange membrane. BP membranes are disposed in piles on a surface of a cathode side of the interlayer 1 (AEM) so that an anion exchange membrane surface of the BP membrane 5 is contacted. Two or more holes 6 are disposed in a prescribed region of the BP membrane 5. A region 7 in which the two or more holes 6 are not disposed in the BP membrane 5 positions near an outlet 4 of an utmost downstream of the deionization chamber. |
