PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which slack is reduced while limiting the moisture content.SOLUTION: The separator for nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes a gas permeable base material, and a heat-resistant porous layer containing at least one kind selected from a heat-resistant resin having a polar group and an inorganic material having a polar group on the surface. The elastic force in the machine flow direction (MD direction) at 50°C is 50 N/cm or higher. |
