A sliding member (1) includes: a metal substrate (2); an undercoat primer layer (3) that is formed on a sliding surface of the metal substrate (2); and a resin layer (4) that is formed on the undercoat primer layer (3), in which the resin layer (4) is formed by curing a composition layer containing a bifunctional alicyclic epoxy and a polymerization initiator.
