The present invention relates to a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery, which includes a carbon-based negative electrode active material, a binder, and a conductive polymer, wherein the conductive polymer has a form of fibers, and to a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The present invention applies a fiber type polymer, as a conductive polymer, to the negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery. Therefore, the present invention can overcome degradations in conductivity, which is the shortcoming of the carbon-based negative electrode active material, and can facilitate the production of the negative electrode.
