PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display server and a map display method that can readily search for a building and cityscape from old times.SOLUTION: A map display server includes: a per-period map DB 3 in which maps are recorded per period; a change determination unit 7 that sequentially compares a present map and a map per period in the past by use of the per-period map DB 3 and categorizes changes on the basis of the comparison result; and a communication unit 4 that transmits map information displayed at the same time on the categorized result of changes obtained by the change determination unit 7. The map display server searches for a spot at the same period on the basis of the categorized result. |
