PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inlet roller guide which copes with the change of many kinds of billet sizes without performing changing work.SOLUTION: This roller guide includes: a pair of roller holders 2 which are mounted on a guide box 1 with fulcrum pins 3 as the center of rotation; a pair of guide rollers 4 which are arranged with roller pins 5 as the center of rotation, on the top side of each roller holder; and center-to-center adjusting mechanisms 12 for adjusting between the centers of the guide rollers 4. The center-to-center adjusting mechanisms 12 are provided with: a center pinion 14 to which rotational force from a hydraulic motor 13 is transmitted; a pair of idle gears 15 which are engaged with the center pinion 14; gear wheels 16 for the pair of roller holders, which are engaged with both idle gears; and a pair of gear wheels 17 for the pair of guide rollers. A gap for preventing contact accompanying mutual heat expansion is provided between the underside of the upper part of the guide box 1 and each roller holder 2. |
