A methods and apparatus are disclosed for small cell enhancement in a wireless communication system. The method includes configuring a UE with at least a first cell and a second cell, wherein the first cell is associated with a Master evolved Node B (MeNB) and the second cell is associated with a Secondary evolved Node B (SeNB) (905). The method also includes receiving a command that carries information associated with activation or deactivation of cells (910). The method further includes determining whether to utilize or ignore the information associated with activation or deactivation of cells based on a determinative condition (915). |
