ENHANCED PRODUCTION OF MEGALOCYTIVIRUS USING SERUM FREE MEDIUM

The present invention relates to a method for producing a virus by using a serum-free medium (SFM). More specifically, the present invention relates to (a) a method for improving infection through virus mycophagy by using an SFM containing 0-0.5% of a fetal bovine serum (FBS) in a fish established cell line exhibiting low infection by virus; and (b) a method for producing a high concentration virus by using a fish established cell line, wherein the method comprises a step of separating a virus from the fish established cell line. According to the present invention, infection and sensitivity with respect to a virus of an established cell line are excellent, and the number of copies is not decreased by successive culturing, so a virus needed in more effectively producing a vaccine may be produced.
