Provided are: a moisture detection system positioned in a manner such that a moisture detection element and a determination circuit are separated from one another, wherein it is possible to minimize device complication; and an electric power steering device. The present invention is equipped with a transmission-side unit having a moisture detection element and provided inside an in-vehicle device of an electric power steering device, and a receiving-side unit having a determination circuit and provided at a distance from the transmission-side unit. Therein, the transmission-side unit wirelessly transmits an output signal from the moisture detection element, and the receiving-side unit receives the output signal wirelessly transmitted from the transmission-side unit. |
