The present invention relates to a package of a crystal oscillator and a method of manufacturing the same. The package of a crystal oscillator according to the present invention includes a ceramic package which has a groove along an edge; a crystal piece which is mounted to vibrate on the center part of the ceramic package and has an aftershock electrode at both sides; and a lid which has a vertical end accommodated in the groove and seals the mounting part of the crystal piece. So, the alignment and sealing of the lid can be improved.
