PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor chip that allows for reducing area occupied thereby.SOLUTION: A sensor chip 10 includes: first and second electrodes that are externally exposed and made of different metals; and a detection circuit configured to detect a detection target contained in a sample DB by being driven by a potential difference between the first electrode and second electrode caused by oxidation reaction of the first electrode and reduction reaction of the second electrode that take place when the first and second electrodes are brought into contact with the sample DB containing an electrolyte.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
