摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of a radiation dose rate of a turbine system by reducing a migration amount of a radioactive substance present in reactor water in a reactor pressure vessel to vapor.SOLUTION: A turbine system dose rate reduction device 33 of a boiling water reactor plant boils reactor water 15 that is stored in a reactor pressure vessel 13 having a reactor core 14 by heat of a nuclear reaction of the reactor core 14 such that air bubbles are generated to form vapor, and introduces the vapor to a turbine system 12 and makes the vapor work. The reactor water 15 contains a volatile radioactive substance (ammonia containing radioactive nitrogen) generated by irradiation of a neutron of the reactor core 14, the radioactive substance being present in a supersaturation state. The turbine system dose rate reduction device 33 has an air bubble gathering structure as gas-liquid contact reduction means for reducing a contact area between a gas phase of the air bubbles and a liquid phase of the reactor water 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
