PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter capable of outputting a transmission signal having a pulse width compliant to a communication standard even in an environment having large temperature variations.SOLUTION: A transmitter 10 for transmitting a pulse-shaped transmission signal using a communication standard that stipulates a pulse width allowable range comprises: a UART unit 214 for generating a pulse-shaped data signal based on information to be transmitted; a PWM unit 215 for generating a periodic pulse signal having a duty ratio for a pulse width determined on the basis of the communication standard; an AND circuit 22 for generating an output signal having a pulse width within the pulse width allowable range, from logical sum of the data signal generated by the UART unit 214 and the periodic pulse signal generated by the PWM unit 215; and a transmission unit 30 for outputting a transmission signal on the basis of the output signal generated by the AND circuit 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
