PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing lower aliphatic carboxylic acid ester from lower aliphatic carboxylic acid and lower olefin in an air phase at high efficiency by using a catalyst for manufacturing lower carboxylic acid ester excellent in activity.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of aliphatic carboxylic acid ester by reacting aliphatic carboxylic acid having 1 to 5 carbon atoms and olefin having 2 to 4 carbon atoms in an air phase by using a solid acid catalyst, Dawson type heteropolyacid represented by the chemical formula (1): MHPWO(I), where a is an integer of 0 to 5, M represents at least one kind selected from a group consisting of cesium, rubidium, ammonium, potassium, barium, gold, lithium, sodium, copper and magnesium and a salt thereof as the solid acid catalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
