PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel semiconductor device, provide a semiconductor device capable of storing multivalued information, provide a semiconductor device with high reliability, or provide a semiconductor with low power consumption.SOLUTION: A memory cell has a first holding part and a second holding part. The first holding part is connected with wiring WLa and wiring BLa; and the second holding part is connected with wiring WLb and wiring BLb. When a selection signal is supplied to the wiring WLa, the writing potential of the wiring BLa is supplied to the first holding part and held. In addition, when a selection signal is supplied to the second holding part, the writing potential of the wiring BLb is supplied to the holding part 21b and held.
