A plurality of conductive layers arranged in a matrix has an outline including a linear portion parallel to a direction along an outline of a display region of a display portion and linear portions of adjacent two conductive layers face each other. Furthermore, in the plurality of conductive layers arranged in a matrix, a plurality of conductive layers arranged in a line in an oblique direction to the outline of the display portion are electrically connected to each other. Alternatively, a plurality of conductive layers arranged in a zigzag line along the outline of the display portion are electrically connected to each other.

A touch panel comprising: a first conductive layer; a second conductive layer; a third conductive layer; a fourth conductive layer; and a display portion, wherein the display portion comprises an outline including a portion parallel to a first direction and a portion parallel to a second direction intersecting with the first direction, wherein the display portion includes a plurality of display elements, wherein the plurality of display elements is arranged at regular intervals in the first direction and the second direction, wherein the first to the fourth conductive layers and the display portion partly overlap with each other, wherein the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are arranged in the first direction, wherein the third conductive layer and the fourth conductive layer are arranged in the first direction, wherein the first conductive layer and the third conductive layer are arranged in the second direction, wherein the second conductive layer and the fourth conductive layer are arranged in the second direction, wherein the first conductive layer and the fourth conductive layer are electrically connected to each other through a first connection portion, wherein the second conductive layer and the third conductive layer are electrically connected to each other through a second connection portion, and wherein the first connection portion and the second connection portion intersect with each other.
