a node agent to receive a virtual machine and a service level objective compute consumption metrics (SLO) parameters from a cloud controller and map the SLO parameters to resources at the compute node; and a Per VM monitor to monitor performance of the virtual machine, wherein the node agent receives performance data from the Per VM monitor and dynamically adjusts performance of the virtual machine based on the performance data.
