Disclosed are a radio broadcast channel updating method and device. The method comprises: determining that a terminal is switched from a first area to a second area and strength of a signal of a broadcasting station that the terminal listens to in the first area is lower than a preset threshold after the terminal is switched to the second area, a difference existing between a band supported by the terminal in the first area and a band supported by the terminal in the second area; and searching the second area for a broadcasting station having a type the same as a broadcasting station that the terminal listens to in the first area, and performing updating and play by using the broadcasting station of the same type. According to the technical solutions provided by the present invention, instant switching of broadcasting stations of a same type can be implemented without a need of manually searching for a channel, it is simple and practical, and additional hardware costs are not increased. |
