The invention relates to a cosmetic agent for treating keratin fibres comprising at least one acid protein and at least one special salt. The use of the acid protein in combination with the special salt improves the colour content, in particular in a reduced colour shift, of dyed keratin fibres. The invention also relates to a method for maintaining the colour of dyed keratin fibres using the claimed cosmetic means and to the use of a combination of acid proteins and the at least one special for maintaining the colour of dyed keratin fibres.
