The invention relates to a device and a method for machining an optical lens, in particular for machining the edges of an optical lens. The device has a measuring device, a machining device, a loading device, an unloading device, an intermediate conveyor, and a belt conveyor. The loading device is arranged between the measuring device and the machining device, and the unloading device is arranged on the opposite side of the machining device. A lens to be machined is detected in an optical reference point, which is determined by the measuring device, and aligned in order to determine the blocking point for the subsequent machining process as precisely as possible. The loading device and the unloading device each have a linearly movable pivoting device equipped with linearly movable suction devices. The machining device is designed to machine two lenses simultaneously. |
