The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile device includes: a touchscreen receiving a touch input; a microphone receiving a voice input; and a control unit which converts at least one of the touch input received through the touchscreen and the voice input received through the microphone to text when entering a message writing mode and generates a message including the text and intonation information of the text. |
