PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for maintaining engaged state properly at the timer of temporary engaging state, in a connector configured so that a front holder is engaged and attached to the connector housing.SOLUTION: In a front holder 2, a bottom face rattling prevention projection 15 and a side face rattling prevention projection 16 are formed. In the temporary engaging state, the bottom face rattling prevention projection 15 is fitted in a groove formed in a predetermined region of a housing chamber outer wall 20. At this time, a pressing part is press fitted in the groove and collapsed slightly. The side face rattling prevention projections 16 are formed at two positions facing predetermined positions (here, substantially central upper and lower positions) on the side inner wall surface of the front holder 2.
