PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make engine restart from a change-of-mind request early.SOLUTION: An engine control device for controlling an engine including a crank angle plate and a crank angle sensor detecting passage of a tooth of the crank angle plate, includes control for restarting the engine and control for determining or predicting swing-back of the engine, on the basis of a restart request from an operator during inertia rotation of the engine. When determining or predicting swing-back, on the basis of the restart request from the operator, the engine control device controls at least one of fuel injection and ignition to the engine, with the number of teeth, having passed, of the crank angle plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
