PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous hot-dip galvanizing method and a continuous hot-dip galvanizing apparatus that control the temperature of a steel strip to be plated when entering a hot-dip galvanizing bath, to prevent plating failure of the plated steel strip.SOLUTION: In a continuous hot-dip galvanizing method, a steel strip 1 to be plated subjected to continuous annealing passes through a snout 3 after cooled in a cooling zone 7 of a continuous annealing furnace, and is then immersed in a hot-dip galvanizing bath 4 to be galvanized. The steel strip 1 to be plated is heated by heat exchange in a liquid bath 6 of an ionic liquid or the like after being cooled in the cooling zone 7 and before entering the snout 3. The temperature of the steel strip 1 to be plated is thus controlled so that the difference between the temperature of the steel strip 1 to be plated when entering the hot-dip galvanizing bath 4 and the temperature of the hot-dip galvanizing bath 4 is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
