PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailbox capable of suppressing contact of a mail article which is put into the mailbox to a lock member of a door for opening and closing a take-out port, and utilizing an inner space efficiently.SOLUTION: A mailbox 1 of one embodiment of the invention comprises: a box-shaped case 2 having a mailing port 20 on a front face, and a take-out port 21 on a rear face; a door 4 for opening and closing the take-out port 21; and a lock member 5 projecting forward, from a lower end of the door 4. The lock member 5 fixes the door 4 in a posture of closing the take-out port 21 to the case 2. The case 2 comprises a bottom plate 25 and a mount table 10 projecting upward from a part of the bottom plate 25. An upper face of the mount table 10 is an inclined face which is inclined so that, as going to a rear side, the upper face is positioned at higher height. On a rear side of the mount table 10, a space S3 capable of storing the lock member 5 is positioned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
