PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map data processing device, a method thereof, a computer program thereof, and a recording medium recording the computer program.SOLUTION: The map data processing device includes a map data storage part for storing map data formed by two-dimensionally linking parcels divided in a mesh shape, a road being represented by a link unit, a link string including a plurality of continuous links being defined, link ID for identifying the link string being independently provided to the link string for each parcel, and is configured to integrate the plurality of adjacent parcels of the map data and small scale map data by reduction of the map data. Road attributes are provided to the link string, and the link string is continuous. Link strings to which specific road attributes are provided are extracted, the same link ID is temporarily provided to the series of extracted link strings, and the link strings are deformed for each link ID.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
