In some example embodiments there is provided a method for secondary information transfer. The method may include establishing a near field communication link, wherein the near field communication link is established in response to a mobile transaction; establishing, in response to a trigger, a wireless memory link to carry supplemental information to a memory at, or coupled to, a near field communication tag, wherein the supplemental information is associated with the mobile transaction carried by the near field communication link; and sending, via the wireless memory link, the information to the memory.
