In this heat exchanger, a main heat exchanging section and a sub heat exchanging section, which are provided with heat exchanging bodies having a plurality of fins that are arranged in parallel and a plurality of heat-transfer pipes connected to the fins, are respectively connected to a refrigerant-inflow header and a refrigerant-outflow header. The heat exchanger is configured by arranging at least three rows of the heat exchanging bodies so as to include at least one main heat exchanging section. If the heat exchanger is configured by arranging the heat exchanging bodies of the odd-numbered rows, at least one sub heat exchanging section is included. The main heat exchanging section is configured by arranging a single heat exchanging body, which is connected to the refrigerant-inflow header, and a single heat exchanging body, which is connected to the refrigerant-outflow header, adjacent to each other, and the sub heat exchanging section is configured by a single heat exchanging body connected to the refrigerant-inflow header and the refrigerant-outflow header. |
