The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a pigment-dispersed resin that exhibits excellent pigment dispersibility even at a high pigment concentration; and a pigment-dispersed paste that exhibits excellent stability. The present invention provides a pigment-dispersed resin characterized by containing a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon-containing monomer at a quantity of 1-70 mass % relative to the total quantity of solid content, and in that the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon-containing monomer is a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a specific polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.
