The present invention relates to a tool (10) for machining a workpiece. The tool (10) has a cutting insert (14) with at least one cutting edge (26). In addition, the tool (10) has a tool holder (12) which extends substantially along a holder longitudinal axis (18) and has a cutting-insert receptacle (20), at a workpiece-side end, for receiving the cutting insert (14), said cutting-insert receptacle (20) having an upper clamping finger (22) and a lower clamping jaw (24). Moreover, the tool (10) has a substantially wedge-shaped clamping element (16) which is able to be fastened in the cutting-insert receptacle (20) in order to clamp the cutting insert (14) in the tool holder (12). Furthermore, the tool (10) comprises a fastening element for fastening the clamping element (16) in the cutting-insert receptacle (20) and simultaneously clamping the cutting insert (14) in the tool holder (12). |
