The present invention relates to a fishing reel wherein a marker, which marks a line, that is, the line type, such as the kind or thickness of a fishing line (a monofilament such as nylon, a twist filament, or the like), is introduced into a tension nut, but not into a location of a frame at which a display state after marking may be changed due to the contact with a palm side or the like, so the marker is covered by a handle, and thus the contact of the marker with a user or other things is fundamentally blocked to protect or maintain the marker set state. The fishing reel having a tension nut equipped with a line type marker, according to the present invention, comprises: a frame; a spool fitted in the frame; a handle fitted in one side of a frame for rotation of the spool; and a tension nut arranged on one side of the frame so as to adjust the rotation speed of the spool shaft to control the casting distance, wherein the tension nut has a mount part, and further comprises a line type maker including: a rotator coupled with the mount part and having a scale marker; and a stopper for fixing the rotator to the mount part. |
