PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent nonflammable sheet having not only excellent nonflammability, transparency and visibility but also excellent toughness and further having a functionality higher than that of conventional ones and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a transparent nonflammable sheet which comprises: a substrate layer composed of a glass fiber fabric composed of glass fibers subjected to surface treatment with a silane coupling agent having an amino group or a quaternary ammonium structure in the molecule and a transparent cured product of a first thermosetting resin which is impregnated and cured in the glass fiber fabric; and a transparent thermoplastic resin film bonded to a cured product of the first thermosetting resin with a second curable resin on both surfaces of the substrate layer, where the difference in the refractive index between the first thermosetting resin and the glass fiber constituting the glass fiber fabric is 0.03 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
