PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tap water storage system that suppresses unintended outflow of water from a faucet other than an emergency water intake faucet, at the same time enlarging a storage tank and suppressing air sump formation in the storage tank.SOLUTION: A tap water storage system 1 for storing tap water includes: a storage tank 3 installed underfloor such that an upward inclination is formed toward a downstream side; a check valve 10 fitted on a water supply pipe 12; a first supply pipe 5 connected to the downstream side of the check valve 10 and to a faucet 26 in a kitchen 25; a main supply pipe 4 connected to an upper edge part on the downstream side of the storage tank 3 and to a plurality of faucets 29, 31; a three-way selector valve 7 disposed on the main supply pipe 4; and a second supply pipe 6 connected to the main supply pipe 4 through the three-way selector valve 7 and having an air pressure inlet 16. When water supply is interrupted, the three-way selector valve 7 is switched to shut down fluid flow to the downstream side of the three-way selector valve 7, while supplying tap water to the faucet 26 in the kitchen 25 from the storage tank 3 by air pressure from an inflator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
