PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated powder that is excellent in water repellency and oil repellency, has smooth feel to the skin when applied, has good adhesiveness, to provide a production method of the surface-treated powder by inexpensive and simple operation, and to provide a cosmetic containing the surface-treated powder.SOLUTION: The invention provides a surface-treated powder in which the surface of a base powder is treated with a perfluoropolyether compound having a carboxyl group represented by a general formula (1), and a cosmetic containing the surface-treated powder.SELECTED DRAWING: None
