PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device capable of transmitting/blocking rotary driving force between a first shaft body and a second shaft body with a simple structure, thus costs can be reduced.SOLUTION: A two-way clutch 6 of a driving force transmission device includes an inner retainer 31, an outer retainer 32 and a plurality of wedge members 26. A first slide contact face 53 of the wedge member 26 is composed of a tapered face directed to a circumferential one side Y1 in accordance with directed to an axial one side X1. A second slide contact face 54 of the wedge member 26 is composed of a tapered face directed to the circumferential other side Y2 in accordance with directed toward the axial one side X1. When an electromagnetic clutch is switched to an ON state, and the plurality of wedge members 26 are moved to the axial one side X1 side, the inner retainer 31 is rotated toward the circumferential other side Y2, the outer retainer 32 is rotated toward the circumferential one side Y1, and an outer periphery of an inner ring and an inner periphery of an outer ring of each pair of rollers are disengaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
