PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foamable solid mix feed which is used only for the livestock (calf and the like) that is in the nurture and rearing periods and which is convenient for use.SOLUTION: The raw materials of foamable solid mix feed include: a powder of sodium bicarbonate which is a formable substance; a powder of saccharide which is an excipient; a fine powder of marine minerals; and a powder of vitamin Bs and a fermentation substance which are additives. These powdery substances are combined and mixed, are put in a mold to be pressured for a while, and are pressure-molded and air-dried to obtain a product. When the product is combined with a selected starter (synthetic milk substitute) made in the United States and is given short time after the starter was given, the rearing effect of the starter is enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
