PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, with respect to a styrenic resin composition having less odor of a styrene resin foam sheet, and excellent in a balance of hardness, secondary moldability, and drawdown resistance, a styrenic resin foam sheet enabling shortening a molding cycle by container molding at a low temperature and deep draw molding, and suitably usable as a food packaging container.SOLUTION: A styrene resin composition for foaming is such that: a melt mass flow rate (MFR) measured at 200°C under a load of 49 N is 1.5-5.0 g/10 min; the total amount of styrene dimer and trimer is 2500 μg/g or less; a peak molecular weight (Mtop) is 180,000-300,000; a Z-average molecular weight (Mz) is 550,000 or more; and a branch ratio gM in a molecular weight of 1,000,000-1,500,000 is 0.85-0.40. The styrene resin composition for foaming contains 0.1-3.0 mass% of low-molecular-weight saturated hydrocarbon.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
