PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a tone curve associated with a plurality of jobs without causing a failure in other jobs.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording medium on the basis of job data including image data and setting information includes an image processing part for processing gradation characteristics of the image data on the basis of a tone curve, an image formation part for forming an image on the basis of the image data processed by the image processing part, and a control part for controlling processing in the image processing part and image formation in the image formation part. The control part manages the tone curve as the gradation characteristics being a correspondence relation of output density to input density of the image data in association with the job data, receives information about a change in the tone curve in relation to the editing of the job data, and displays other job data affected by the change of the tone curve if the tone curve is associated with the other job data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
