PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus which reduces an ink tank exchange frequency while restricting an ink discard amount.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus includes: a first ink tank; detection means for detecting an ink amount in the first ink tank; and a second ink tank. On the basis of the ink amount in the first ink tank that is detected by the detection means, a liquid level in the second ink tank is adjusted from a prescribed height position to a position higher than the prescribed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
