PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device which inhibits foreign objects from adhering to a nozzle with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The ink jet recording device includes a guide member 32 in which a groove 321a and a through hole 322a are formed. The ink jet recording device includes: a space formation member 35; and a recording head 34a. The guide member 32 guides a recorded medium from a first area A to a second area B. The space formation member 35 faces the guide member 32 in the first area A to form a foreign object recovery space with the guide member 32. The recording head 34a faces the guide member 32 in the second area B. The groove 321a extends from the first area A to the second area B and has a first portion S1 projected in the second area B and a second portion S2 which is a portion excluding the first portion S1. A depth H1 of the first portion S1 of the groove 321a is shallower than a depth H2 of the second portion S2 of the groove 321a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
