PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake duct capable of reducing the intake noise from the air intake duct, capable of preventing easy intrusion of rain water or the like into the duct and suction of high-temperature air into the duct, and further capable of lowering the level of vehicle interior noise.SOLUTION: There is provided an air intake duct for a vehicle engine formed into a tubular shape having internally an intake path for introducing an outside air in an air cleaner 41, and having a suction end part 11 sucking the outside air and a connection end part 12 connected to the air cleaner 41. The suction end part 11 is disposed above and in front of the connection end part 12 in an engine room 4 and comprises a porous member 2 composing the tube wall of a specifying part 23 being at least a part of the suction end part 11, and a duct body 1 composing the tube wall of a general part 13 other than the specifying part 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
