PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument with a notification device that can notice, when a medical instrument is used beyond an adequate extent, that the use is beyond the adequate extent of the medical instrument.SOLUTION: The medical instrument with a notification device includes: a comparison processing part 41a and a determination processing part 41b that make a comparison between an integrated load value L obtained by integrating load values working on a cutting tool 26 used for a root canal therapy and the like and a replacement reference value E or a replacement threshold value T that are set to the cutting tool 26 in advance, and that make a determination; and a notification part 16 for making a notification by a prescribed operation on the basis of the results determined by the comparison processing part 41a and the determination processing part 41b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
