PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor that can provide memory resistance over a long period and provide high stability in quality of an image to be formed.SOLUTION: There is provided an organic photoreceptor having a charge generating layer, charge transport layer, and protective layer laminated in this order on a conductive support, where the protective layer contains p-type semiconductor fine particles and copper (II) oxide fine particles. In the organic photoreceptor, the copper (II) oxide fine particles preferably have a number average primary particle diameter of 1 to 300 nm, and the copper (II) oxide fine particles are preferably be contained in an amount of 0.05 to 5 mass% relative to the p-type semiconductor fine particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
