PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow users to observe an image target object without parallax in a telephoto state and wide-angle state.SOLUTION: A range-finding device 1 comprises: a transmission optical system 3 that irradiates a target object with measurement light; a light reception optical system 4 that receives reception light having the measurement light reflected or scattered by the target object; an imaging optical system 2 that causes an image of the target object to be formed; and an image pick-up element 7 that photographs the image of the target object formed by the imaging optical system 2.
