PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for appropriately detecting and solving the error state of a settlement terminal mounted on equipment which sells merchandise.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 30 is configured to, when determining that a settlement terminal 10 is in an error state on the basis of settlement terminal information acquired from the settlement terminal 10 by reading an information code, generate a request file, and to supply the request file to a server 50. The server 50 is configured to, when acquiring the request file, generate a scenario file on the basis of each information included in the request file, and to supply the scenario file to the settlement terminal 10.
