The present invention relates to: an Internet marriage matchmaking system in which a member uploads matchmakee information and in which profit is generated through the matchmaking with matchmakees secured by the member, and faulty matchmaking due to the excessive workload of a matchmaker managing matchmaking can be prevented; and a control method therefor. That is, the Internet marriage matchmaking system of the present invention comprises a member terminal used by a member having matchmakee information, and a matchmaking server for storing matchmakee information so as to enable the matchmakee information to be searched for through the member terminal.
