Provided is a method for preparing a flexible display substrate. The preparation method comprises the following steps: forming a separation pattern layer (2) on a bearing substrate (1), wherein the separation pattern layer (2) comprises a plurality of separation units arranged at intervals; forming a bonding layer (3) on the bearing substrate (1) on which the separation pattern layer (2) is formed; forming a flexible substrate (4) on the bonding layer (3), and forming a display element on a side of the flexible substrate (4) opposite to the bonding layer (3); and performing a stripping pretreatment on the bearing substrate (1), and stripping the flexible substrate (4) from the bearing substrate (1) to form the flexible display substrate. Also provided is a flexible display substrate mother board. A gap is uniformly produced between the flexible display substrate and the bearing substrate through heating or pressure application, so as to easily strip the flexible display substrate, alleviate or even eliminate deformations produced in the flexible display substrate, improve the product yield of the flexible display substrate, and reduce the manufacture cost of the flexible display substrate, which is simple and easy to implement. |
