Provided is a preparation method for 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid, wherein 2,5-diacetylfuran is used as a raw material and 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid is prepared in a high yield. The method is simple and efficient, and has a short flow rout and fewer by-products. 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid prepared by the method has a high purity, and can satisfy the requirements for use as a raw material for high-performance engineering plastics, such as polyesters, epoxy resins, polyamide, polyurethane and the like, and as a chemical raw material and a medical intermediate raw material.
