The present invention relates to: a transition metal compound which not only can exhibit a high level of activity in an olefin polymerization reaction but also allows easy adjustment of characteristics such as the chemical structure, molecular weight distribution and mechanical properties of an olefin polymer synthesised thereby; a catalyst composition comprising same; and an olefin polymer production method using the catalyst composition.
