The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle, comprising: an air conditioning case (10) with an air inlet (11) and a plurality of air outlets (12); and a mode door (100) installed in the air conditioning case (10) to control the opening of each of the air outlets (12). The mode door (100) comprises: a door plate (110) installed in the air conditioning case (10) to be able to rotate through a rotating shaft (130); and a sealing member (120) made from elastic materials and placed on the circumference of the door plate (110) to come in contact with a supporting surface (15) of the air conditioning case (10). The mode door (100) is made to let the sealing member (120) fall from the supporting surface (15) in one direction with a parallax when the mode door (100) is opened. The present invention is to reduce the sound caused by the sealing member falling from the supporting surface of the air conditioning case when the mode door is opened with the structural improvement of the mode door.
